Expansive spaces can often represent the most difficult challenges for designers and architects. When we were approached by media company Vivid with a brief to transform their new premises – a disused MOT garage – into an office and exhibition space, Zachary Pulman Design Studio created a flexible and environmentally conscious design solution suitable for a series of different useable scenarios.
With our client specifying the need for a multi-functional space, with the adaptability to accomodate everything from a single user editing video to large group presentations, our concept was novel – a large plywood pod, on a series of nylon rollers, enabling the module to be fully mobile. It also functioned as the company’s main reception/information centre.

The Brief
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
